Rotor Brushing Machine

Achieve consistent multi-directional brushing and structuring on wooden surfaces with precise process control. This machine uses rotating brush units around a central axis to create uniform textures, even on complex patterns such as Versailles panels.

The Rotor Brushing Machine is designed for brushing, structuring and sanding wooden workpieces where uniform results in all directions are required.

Typical applications include:

  • Parquet flooring

  • Versailles panels

  • Furniture panels

  • Stair steps

  • Exterior wood elements

  • Kitchen cabinets

  • Similar wooden components

The machine is also suitable for creating aged or structured surface effects on wood.

The machine is equipped with six heavy-duty brush units positioned around a central vertical axis. This configuration allows the brushes to process the surface from multiple directions, ensuring consistent structuring and sanding across the entire workpiece.

Each brush unit rotates alternately clockwise and counterclockwise. This alternating movement ensures a uniform finish, particularly on surfaces with complex grain patterns or multi-directional structures such as Versailles panels.

Operators can adjust parameters such as brush pressure, brush rotation speed and main axle speed. These adjustments provide extensive control over the brushing process and allow different textures and surface effects to be created.

Workpieces are transported through the machine using a vacuum conveyor belt. This system securely holds the material in place during processing, ensuring stability even when working with lightweight or delicate workpieces.

The brush units are compatible with various brush types, allowing the machine to be adapted for different materials and surface finishes. The integrated quick-change brush system enables fast brush replacement, minimizing downtime during production.

Compatible brush types include:

  • Tynex brushes

  • Brass bundle brushes

  • Brass spiral brushes

  • Scotch Brite brushes

  • Sanding brushes

Benefits of the Rotor Brushing Machine

Consistent surface finish with controlled brushing

View the results achieved with the brushing machine with 4 brush units.

Sanding

“Controlled mechanical brushing used to open wood grain, remove machining residue, and achieve a consistent surface texture across boards and profiles.

Texturing

Texturing is used to level surfaces, remove machining marks, and prepare materials for further finishing or coating. Consistency becomes increasingly challenging as material variation and production speed increase.
